Sen. Ted Cruz defended his questioning of the Federal Aviation Administration’s decision to halt air travel to Israel.
Cruz also criticized Secretary of State John Kerry for giving $47 million in economic aid to Hamas in Gaza.
Yesterday, a State Department spokesperson called Cruz’s questions “ridiculous” and “offensive.”
Cruz threatened to hold all State Department employee nominees until they answered his questions.
