Police Chief to Gabby Giffords: Teach Girls About Gun Control In Preschool

On October 21 gun control proponent Gabby Giffords’ attended a meeting in Portland, Oregon’s Grant Public High School where the topics of discussion included the incorporation of gun control into preschool curriculum for girls and the expansion of gun bans.

The meeting was part of Giffords’ nine-state tour.

A video of the meeting posted by Daylight Disinfectant shows Giffords describing “gun violence” as “a women’s issue” and urging women to join her in pressuring Congress to support more gun control.

After Giffords’ comments, other women spoke to ways they believe the gun control agenda can be furthered.

For example, Portland YWCA executive director Susan Stoltenberg said she would like to “see an expanded application of the exclusion of the ability to own or possess a firearm.”

“I think we have to partner really closely and strongly with education, so that we’re starting to educate our young women at, well, preschool would work for me, but I think the reality is at least at middle school,” retired Gresham police chief Carla Piluso added.

On July 30 Breitbart News reported on Giffords’ argument that guns are part of a war on women and that more gun control is needed now.
