Google: Barack Obama ‘King of the United States’

As Ferguson, Missouri, burned for a second straight night and the White House moves forward with plans for executive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, search engine giant Google has crowned President Barack Obama “King” of the United States of America.

“Ask Google who is the [King Of United States] and Google will inform you that it is Barack Obama, the current President of the United States,” Barry Schwartz writes for SearchEngineLand.com

The Google Answer to this question, part of Google’s database, that is “potentially filled with their [Google’s] knowledge graph”–comes from a Breitbart News headline from the night Obama announced his executive amnesty for 5 million illegal aliens last week. That article quoted Republican leaders from Karl Rove to House Speaker John Boehner to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to incoming Senate Budget Committee chairman Jeff Sessions (R-AL), all using Obama’s own words against him to call him “King” or “Emperor” in response to his executive amnesty announcement.

Schwartz argues this is a case were Google’s various algorithms “got it wrong” and that it doesn’t appear to be a Google “Easter Egg”–one of the many hoaxes the website plays on purpose as a joke.

“Why would Google show this answer when it is clearly wrong?” Schwartz wrote. “Is it an Easter Egg? I strongly doubt it. But it does look to be a case where Google got it wrong when it comes to getting answers from third party sources.”
