Marco Rubio Not Worried About 'Formidable' Jeb Bush in 2016

After news broke that former Florida governor Jeb Bush would actively explore a run for president, Sen. Marco Rubio’s team pushed back against the idea that this would make it more difficult for the Florida Senator to run.

Many pundits suggested that Rubio would struggle to raise money, as the pair of Florida political figures share some of the same political donors in Florida.

Both potential presidential candidates face criticism from anti-amnesty conservatives, after they publicly supported some form of immigration reform.

Bush drew fire after he suggested that the actions of illegal immigrants who crossed the border could be considered as an “act of love” and an “act of commitment” in an effort to keep their families together.
