Ferguson Ratings: Fox Dominates, CNN's Left Turn Steals MSNBC Viewers

Rather than report the news last week, the mainstream media instead chose to create news in Ferguson, Missouri with 24/7 race-baiting, outright lies, stupidity and urbanite ignorance. The Fox News Channel’s terrific Ferguson reporting combined with not losing focus on real news, powered the first-place network to its second highest week of the year.

Last week Fox averaged 2.25 million primetime and 1.26 million total day viewers. Fox also won the coveted 25-54 demo averaging 272K throughout the day. “The Kelly File,” “Hannity,” “Outnumbered,” and “Happening Now” all enjoyed yearly highs.

Under chief Jeff Zucker, CNN has taken a wild turn to the political left (gun control, race, identity politics, Christian-bashing, same sex marriage) and for all of last week it paid off handsomely. In the fight for last place, it looks as though CNN’s cynical pandering and stirring of the racial pot in Ferguson stole MSNBC’s left-wing viewers.

CNN averaged 901K primetime and 690K total day viewers, compared to MSNBC’s 737K and 402K. In the 25-54 demo, CNN earned 241K in total day, compared to just 106K for MSNBC.

On the issue of Ferguson, CNN has been much more biased, irresponsible, and hysterical than MSNBC. It only makes sense that MSNBC’s leftwing viewers would switch channels.
