Cameron Urges More Action on Ebola

London, October 17 (QNA) – British Prime Minister David Cameron has urged other members of the international community to “look to their responsibilities” to help tackle the Ebola epidemic ravaging parts of West Africa.

Cameron insisted the Britain was “leading the way” in providing assistance to the region as he backed a call by United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-moon for other countries to deliver more in the way of funding and resources.

Meanwhile researchers seeking to develop a vaccine for the Ebola warned that it was unlikely to be available until well into next year – too late to help in the current epidemic. (QNA)
