ISIS Executes Alleged Gay Man By Throwing Him off a Building, then Stoning

In new photos released by the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), jihadists are seen killing a man believed to be gay by throwing him off the roof of a building. The radical Islamists proceeded to stone the man once he landed from the fall.

“The Islamic court in Wilayet al-Furat decided that a man who has practised sodomy must be thrown off the highest point in the city, and then stoned to death,” the terrorist group said in a statement on a jihadist website.

The Wilayet al-Furat area is along the Syrian-Iraqi border where the Islamic State claimed part of its Caliphate. The jihadists posted pictures of the execution [warning: graphic] and the men reading the verdict from a piece of paper.

ISIS implements a strict interpretation of Sharia law in areas they control. Homosexuality is a crime and punishable by death under that law. The jihadist group executed two men, 18 and 20, in November for allegedly being gay. One man reportedly had videos on his phone of him “practicing indecent acts with males,” while the other man was killed without any proof of being gay. In a video, one fighter said homosexuals are “pedophiles” and the “worst of all creatures.”

Documented cases prove that ISIS fighters have engaged in the rape of young men. A documentary from Kurdish television interviewed fighters who admit the group rapes these young men “and records them to use as blackmail and force [them] to join [ISIS].”

“About a fortnight later they came and said I had to join,” said one man. “I did not want to. But they had the footage. They threatened to show it to my family.”

Some men could not even explain what Islamic State fighters did to them. “I fainted. When I came round they told me: ‘you are now with ISIL’,” said a fighter.
