A Central California coffee shop that features baristas in bikinis is under fire for its racy menu that features drinks called “Get Lai’ed,” “blonde porn star,” “Sex in your mouth,” and “Screamer.”
According to the Fresno Bee, Candice Eslick, a “working mother and grandmother,” is asking the Clovis City Council to require the Bottom’s Up coffee shop to move its menu inside, and because Eslick obtained 150 signatures for her petition, the issue will go on the City Council’s agenda on May 19.
Eslick, who has been concerned about children reading the menu and even taking photos with the baristas, want the Council to send “a message to our young girls that this is not the way to do business.”
The Bee noted that Eslick pointed out that shop opened as an energy bar, closed 30 days later, and then “underwent renovations and reopened as Bottom’s Up.”
