West Hollywood Halloween Carnival Raises 500,000 Undead

In a city already known for its flamboyancy, West Hollywood will be adding another proverbial nose ring with their annual Hollywood Halloween Carnival. On Friday night the LGBT haven expects to entertain 500,000 people in what is being promoted as the largest Halloween party in the world.

Restaurants and popular bars plan on being inundated with goblins, pirates, and sexy nurses dressed in Ebola Hazmat attire. Annenberg TV News reported that Sean Christopher, a server at one of the West Hollywood’s trendiest gay bars on Robertson Blvd, The Abbey, predicts that lines will be extending out the door and spilling down Melrose Ave.

Though the city’s reputation for being home to a significant LGBT population is legendary, the West Hollywood carnival caters to people of all sexual orientations–even heterosexuals.

Christopher suggests you take a cab to the city on Friday, because public parking will be next to impossible. Roads between Santa Monica Blvd. up to Doheny and La Cienega will be closed during the event.

The Carnival is scheduled to begin Friday at 6 p.m. and will end at 11 p.m.
