Ret Maj General: Hagel Had a Look of Fear While Discussing ISIS Threat

Tuesday on “DEFCON 3 by KT,” Fox News military analyst  Ret. Major General Robert Scales told KT McFarland the threat from ISIS is extremely credible and senior leaders at the Pentagon were “infuriated” with the Obama administration’s attempts to dial back General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel’s Pentagon’s ISIS warnings at a press conference Thursday

Scales said, “You saw in the face of the Secretary of Defense something that looked akin to fear because they understand that this metamorphosis that this organization is going though has the ultimate intent of not only establishing a caliphate, which would be a terrorist safe haven, a sort of sanctuary for building a terrorist force  but ultimately their objective their instinct is to attack Western Europe and the United States.”
