On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) said President Barack Obama’s “foreign policy is in free fall.”

Rogers said, “Unfortunately, we find it consistent with his past policy and action on foreign policy, it exemplifies his foreign policy is in free fall.”

“This is an opportunity for the president to bring the country together so that we understand this ‘don’t-do-stupid-stuff’ policy isn’t working. If the world perceives that the United States does not have a consistent policy of saying what it means and meaning what it says, you’re going to see more of this pressure,” he said.

Rogers concluded, “ISIL would like to have a Western-style attack to continue this notion that they are the leading jihadist group in the world.”
