Thursday night at Rep. Michael Michaud (D-ME), the Democratic nominee for governor’s campaign rally President Barack Obama said the Republican Party treats woman like the female characters are treated in, “Mad Men,” AMC’s popular show set in the 1960’s world of the American advertising industry.
Obama said, “We need leaders from the 21st century.” he added, “Treating woman fairly that shouldn’t be complicated. You know, ‘Mad Men,’ is a good show. I like it, but that’s not what we need in Augusta or Washington. When woman succeed America succeeds.”
