Friday on the campaign trail, Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) was questioned about a confrontation he had earlier in the week with a protester who the governor told to, “sit down and shut up” defiantly explained, “I am who I am.”
Christie said, “I am who I am, and you know my view has been that, I’ve told people in New Jersey this, when you give it you’re getting it back. If you give respect you’ll get it back. If you don’t give respect I’ll take you out on it. I don’t calculate these things politically this is who I am and I think most people understand that.”
